Let me start by saying that as an Enabler, if you have not watched Ted Lasso, please go get an Apple TV subscription and watch it, the amount of great moments and transferable teachings you can get from coach Lasso and Coach Beard are golden.
Why do I say this? Well, he is a coach, and I believe that learning from a coach is the best way for me to learn how to be a better Enabler every day. And fictional or not, there are great lessons about being a coach in this show that inspire me everytime I watch it. The one that stuck the most with me was this: in an interview with a reporter – and I am paraphrasing what he says – I believe it was on Episode 4 or 6 of season 1, Ted is asked if he cares about winning or losing, and he says that he doesn’t, because it is not about that it is about the team playing together.
